OPTi Digital Handheld Refractometer - Primary (Brix/Refractive Index)

This OPTi digital refractometer with temperature compensation has been designed with specialists in mind. Whilst scale A has been reserved for the full 0-95 Brix range, scale B is for Refractive Index. The 1.33-1.54 refractive index scale is in fact the primary scale from which all other scales are derived. You could, therefore, use this refractometer for almost any application (providing you had the information required to form your results).

For most users we recommend our application-based refractometer, however for specialist use this can be used for:

Scale A is set to °Brix (ATC)

Scale B is set to Refractive Index (ATC)

OPTi refractometers are made in Germany and feature a durable IP65 rated housing, a stainless steel prism dish which rapidly stabilises sample temperature, and a clear LCD display. All tri-scale OPTi refractometers have the ability to measure across the full 0-95 °Brix range.
